Discover life in the jasseries, summer farms of the Hautes Chaumes: how they work, the traditional production of fourme, the history of the summer pastures, the evolution of the landscape and many other discoveries.
What is a chatter and how does it work? How was the fourme made? Who went up in the mountain pastures? How did we live? The museum space located under the thatched roof of the Jasserie answers these questions. (Free visit or with audio guide.)
La Jasserie du Coq Noir also offers many activities to discover the environment and heritage: nature walks for children, storytelling walks, independent treasure hunts, picking walks, etc.
A cultural season is organized from May to October.
And you can finally taste local products (and in particular the famous patia) by the fire...
