In this 6,5 ha garden, the plant areas are designed in the shape of a continent and the lawns symbolize the seas and oceans. This giant planet combines botany, environmental education and offers more than 700 species and 2000 varieties of plants
The Garden for the Earth, born in 1997 from the imagination of Laurence Médioni and extends over 6,5 hectares in which the plant spaces are designed in the shape of continents and the lawns symbolize the seas and oceans.
From the belvedere perched 25m high, the visitor has the world at his feet with an overview of this plant setting, unique in Europe, which brings together 20 varieties of plants relocated to their continent of origin.
In season, the Garden for the Earth develops a cultural program articulated around artistic exhibitions, theatrical performances, live shows for children and adults, concerts. To these activities are added guided tours based on the preservation of the environment, animations where ecosystems and biodiversity are put forward (observation of fauna, flora, picking and tasting of edible, etc.), environmental awareness workshops (construction of nesting boxes, use of essential oils, Home made cosmetics, etc.).
