Découverte des plantes médicinales à la Ferme de la framboise

Discover medicinal plants and discover the profession of producer! We offer two types of walk: discovery of the garden and visit/tasting at the workshop or you complete the whole with a discovery around the farm.

The first lasts about 1h30:
We will visit the garden where we grow the plants.
We go to the workshop, to the heart of our business.
We taste the aperitifs and digestives with plants, specialties of the house!

The second lasts about 3 hours:
We take the small formula, and we integrate a discovery walk of wild medicinal plants around the farm before going to the workshop. We also discuss the history of herbalism and current issues. You are given a booklet to take notes with photos and a bibliography.
Please note that there is no plant picking offered to participants. On the contrary, participants are made aware of the reproduction of species and the fragility of ecosystems to be respected.

What are we going to do together?
It is a question of proposing a time of exchanges and discoveries around medicinal plants, whether wild or cultivated (depending on the formula chosen), and our job as a producer.
The goal is not to go into precise botanical details, but rather to make you want to learn more, to try to make some herbal teas, to understand how you can treat yourself with plants.
We will talk about plants but also about how to transform them simply: drying, syrups, pesto, oils and vinegars, jellies, mother tinctures, gemmotherapy, cooking with plants.
The goal is to use plants present in large quantities in nature and especially not rare plants or plants whose reproduction may be threatened.
This is an initiation, to make participants want to go further, to seek, to understand. A small bibliography of books will be proposed. And we will bring our books so that the participants can consult them at the end.
We can also mention a little (barely) organic indicator plants that give us indications on the nature of the soil.

We will also present our profession, the different stages of harvesting and picking, drying, processing.
And we will always end with a tasting. Possibility to buy products on site, directly from the workshop.
