Couleurs romanes

Meeting place: In the parking lot alongside the church - Halle
Architecture, landscape, towns or cities of character, visits always allow you to discover or rediscover the history and local heritage... and the small story often meets the big one.
The village of Glaine-Montaigut expresses the warm atmosphere of this little corner of land with a Mediterranean feel.
At its heart stands the 11th and 12th century Saint-Jean church, a little gem in Romanesque style. Built in blonde arkose, it exudes an incredible feeling of softness and serenity. The restored wall paintings highlight the interior architecture.
Let yourself be led to the Romanesque choir to appreciate a large group of figured capitals as well as a representation of the Déisis, a rare Byzantine style fresco.
Full price: €5,50, Reduced price: €4 (job seekers, CEs and students).
Free for less than 12 years.
