The concept is simple: once a year, on the same day, the Association brings together the actors of collective and traditional catering who offer citizens of the same territory to share the same local menu.
Each menu is developed and designed by a local Chef godmother or godfather, using local and seasonal products.
Why participate?
This meeting is an opportunity to bring citizens together around the meal and its values: conviviality, sharing, curiosity, pleasure, relationship with others and many other humanist values. But it is also an opportunity to make participants and local actors aware of the essential issues, short circuits and anti-food waste, education in taste, health and well-being. The Le Grand Repas association supports, promotes and highlights to the citizens of each participating territory all the local players in the world of catering and food (producers, distributors, restaurateurs, etc.) drivers of the art of French living!
