Visite "Le prieuré des dames de Fontevraud"

As part of the Chaise-Dieu festival concert: guided tour by a tour guide from the Land of Art and History of the Esteil priory site and its Romanesque architecture.

Founded in 1151 on the borders of Livradois and Val d'Allier, the female priory of Esteil depended until the Revolution on the order of Fontevraud and sheltered for more than six hundred years a religious community which still brought together twenty nuns in 1767 .
Visit followed by the Génération La Chaise-Dieu concert at 18 p.m.
