Are you a nature lover and do you like walking? Then our 250-year-old renovated farmhouse is a wonderful starting point for your vacation.
Surrounded by forests, clean air, silence and tranquility, Deux Frères offers you a view of the volcanic mountains of Auvergne from the belvedere. There are countless opportunities here to get in touch with nature. We are happy to welcome you and show you the most beautiful places in Livradois-Forez.
On the first floor of the farmhouse are 4 bedrooms. There are two more luxurious double bedrooms with a sitting area and a family room for four people. These rooms have private bathrooms. The fourth bedroom is a dormitory that can accommodate up to 6 people. This bedroom has its own shower and sink, the toilet is on the ground floor. You can sleep with strangers in this room.
There is plenty of room to relax as downstairs is a living room with a sofa and armchairs, where you can also watch TV.
Next to the living room is the kitchen with dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped. You can use this kitchen to keep your things in the refrigerator. The kitchen is open to the large dining room with a fireplace with a wood burning stove. In the morning, breakfast is served in the dining room.
A few times a week we prepare a simple meal and you can eat with us. If you indicate it in advance, we will be happy to prepare a picnic for you.
Every morning we go to the bakery to have fresh bread for breakfast and for our guests on the campsite. If you want bread for lunch or a picnic, you can order it from us the day before.
A large room offering various possibilities for relaxation is located next to the dining room. This room is also used by our other guests who stay at the campsite or in the chalets. There is a corner with information on walks, excursions and there is a small library. At the long table you can work with a laptop or do crafts with the children. There is table football, toys and games.
All bedrooms on the ground floor have access to a large terrace. The terrace is equipped with furniture and parasols.
On the campsite, a small nature playground and outdoor toys are available for children. The picnic tables, the boules court and the ping-pong table are also available to everyone. In July and August, a small swimming pool is on site. For the little ones, for paddling or simply to cool off. There are also several swimming opportunities in the area.
One person: from €17,50 to €37,50 (For room 3 dormitory. Possible extra: bed linen (€10) and towels (€2,50), breakfast €7,50)
Two people: €45 to €60 (€60: room 1 and 2. If you are alone: €45)
Four people: €130 (€130: room 5. If you are with 3: €110)
Meal: 15 to 22,50 €.
Prices include breakfast, tourist tax, Wifi, linen and towels (except for the dormitory room).
Possibility for groups (hikers, walkers, nature lovers) to rent all the rooms, see with the owners.
Room 1 and 2: same price. For 2 people (2 single beds or beds made into a double bed). Relaxation area and view on the terrace of the farm.
Bedroom 3: dormitory with 4 single beds. Possibility to put away your tent in a dry place, even spend the night there. Ideal for hikers or cyclists.
Bedroom 4: for 2 people (2 single beds). View of the volcanoes, with rest area (table and chair).
Bedroom 5: for 4 people (1 bunk bed and 2 single beds including 1 on the mezzanine). View of the campsite and the surrounding countryside, with a rest area (table and chair).
All rooms have their own bathroom, the toilets are located in the hallway.
