Savonnerie de la goutte noire

We welcome you all in the summer to visit for free every Monday and Friday at 15:30 p.m. (Without reservation). We look forward to having you among us and being able to show you how our products are made.

The Savonnerie de la Goutte Noire created in 1996 is located in Pont de David in La Chapelle Agnon in Puy-de-Dôme. Our knowledge comes from two master soap makers from Marseille.
We have four saponification cauldrons, which allow us to make Marseille soap, black soap, liquid soap as well as our washing bases to make soaps. For a cosmetic effect, we incorporate ingredients such as flowers, oils, clays, honey, different milks…

Our machines are around fifty years old, and they allow us to work with techniques that protect the integrity of the raw materials used.
