Marguerite de Valois, known as Queen Margot, wife of Henri IV, was held there in exile between 1586 and 1605. time of religious wars (a scenovision is dedicated to the story of Usson and Marguerite de Valois). East of theRomanesque church of Saint-Maurice and from the Queen's Chapel, the path leads to the basalt organs which overlook the village then invites you to climb the peak opening onto an exceptional landscape.
