La Catiche, in the dictionary, is the otter's burrow. But, for the Community of Communes THIERS DORE and MONTAGNE, it is an EEDD service, (Environmental Education for Sustainable Development).
All year round, the La Catiche team offers educational and leisure activities, with the family, in groups, during school hours or during the holidays. in the emblematic sites of the Community of Communes Thiers Dore and Mountain (Lac d'Aubusson, Iloa Thiers, lake of St Rémy sur Durolle, etc...).
A la 1/2 journée, ou journée, les thèmes ne manquent pas : l'alimentation durable, l'eau, la biodiversité, la forêt, la prévention des déchets, les sciences de la terre...
As part of the "Nature and Heritage Walks" program of the Livradois-Forez Natural Park, La Catiche guides you in particular to discover the otter, bats, beavers and dragonflies.

Hello You can find accompanied walks at the lake as in past years. You will find them in the agenda section, you can filter by town. This year 3 accompanied walks are on the program: "the cubs walk", "the pipistrelle walk", "to meet the dragonflies". As in other years, we advise you to reserve your places before going there.
