Come and discover a succession of industrial wastelands as you walk along the tumultuous Durolle River. The banks of the river are dotted with explanations about the papermakers, tanners and cutlers who made the history of the medieval city.
High place of the artisanal and industrial production, the valley of the factories is an emblematic site. Set off to meet the cutlers of yesteryear through a walking route along the banks of the Durolle. Discover the Saint-Jean and Moutier districts, the Pont de Seychalles, the gardens of the old hospital as well as the Creux de l'Enfer and the Usine du May.
