Come and discover a traditional cutlery workshop located in a building steeped in more than 200 years of history. You will discover a profession of yesterday and today.
The good tempering workshop is an artisanal cutlery workshop located in La-Monnerie-Le-Montel. I work in a building dating from 1750: Le rouet de Boulary. Once in a grinder's workshop, I kept the machines of yesteryear and gave them a new lease of life by using them in my daily production.
It is in this context that I invite you to come and discover the profession of cutler, a modern profession loaded with know-how and traditions.
Additional location: The Atelier La Bonne Trempe does not overlook the Place de Boulary but below! To finish arriving at the workshop, once you have passed the traffic light and the railway line, take an immediate left before the bridge (Rue des Forges) then the hairpin on the right to pass under the bridge and you will see the workshop!
The visit is free of charge.
Maximum group size: 10 people (for more, contact me to study the feasibility)
Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
