Ravel Castle dates back to 1147 and its first occupant was Pierre de Ravel. It became royal property under Philippe III le bold and Philippe Le Bel.
At the start of the visits, the guide will gather you under the arcades. The guided tour begins with the exteriors, then you enter the main courtyard, visit the stables and the Salle des Etats Généraux, where there is one of the first heraldic friezes in France. Inside the castle, you will visit around ten period furnished rooms.
