Day under the sign of gluttony with a visit to the Source Distillery producing aperitifs and the Fourme and Traditions Museum, an essential cheese from Forez.

10 am, visit to the Source Distillery in Chalmazel-Jeansagnière. Here, we make aperitifs and digestives made from wild plants! From the picking or their productions, the recipes are created with their imagination and the advice of the elders. Come and discover the distillery, taste the products and
new recipes such as pastis forézien, gentian-based aperitifs and digestives. Shop on site.

12:30 p.m., lunch at the Restaurant le Sauvagnard in Sauvain.

15 p.m., visit to the Fourme and Traditions Museum in Sauvain. Immerse yourself in the heart of the agricultural life of the Monts du Forez, its emblematic products and trades of yesteryear. At the end of the visit, we offer you a tasting of Fourme de Montbrison, our famous AOP cheese.
