A day to explore the ancestral know-how of the Hautes-Chaumes du Forez, cradle of the Fourme de Montbrison.
9:30 a.m., visit to the Fourme and traditions museum in Sauvain. Immerse yourself in the heart of the agricultural life of the Monts du Forez, its emblematic products and trades of yesteryear.
11 a.m., discovery of the Dairy company in Sauvain. Our cheesemakers welcome you to pass on their passion and their tasty know-how like that of the Fourme de Montbrison. Our Forézian pride with the AOP label. Tasting and shop on site.
13 p.m., lunch at the Auberge de Garnier in Saint-Bonnet-le-Courreau.

15:30 p.m., visit of the Moulin des Massons in Saint-Bonnet-le-Courreau. In a real 17th century watermill, the rapeseeds are crushed, roasted and pressed just like in the old days, right before your eyes, to make you discover authentic flavors that have not aged a bit. Tasting and shop on site

- Possibility of visiting the Saint-Bonnet-le-Courreau cheese company instead of the Sauvain dairy company, at an additional cost.
- Possibility of replacing the visit to the Moulin des Massons with a visit “To the oven and to the mill” with the making of seed rolls. Extra. Maximum 30 people.
