Take the chairlift with your mountain bike towards Pierre-sur-Haute. The ascent offers you magnificent views of the Loire and the Puy de Dôme and with a little luck you will even be able to see the Alps and its snow-capped peaks before setting off.
This route takes you across the plateaus to the Bazanne stone and back through the Chorsin valley in the cool of the large fir trees.
