Meeting place: Former Flowserve site

Organized by the CCI Puy-de-Dôme and its partners, the 33rd edition of the Coutellia festival returns to Thiers on May 18 and 19, 2024. Visitors will come to meet cutlers and suppliers, coming from France and the four corners of the world.

Coutellia, the International Knife Festival of Art and Tradition, returns on May 18 and 19, 2024 to Thiers, the world capital of cutlery.

Having become the benchmark for cutlery fairs in Europe, the COUTELLIA Festival brings together professionals and amateurs from France and the four corners of the world each year. 4 exhibitors from all over France and Europe are expected. Whether they are art cutlers, cutler manufacturers or even suppliers of raw materials, all will converge on Thiers to present their know-how and their most beautiful pieces.

The cutlery village will offer, throughout the weekend, numerous activities and demonstrations around cutlery know-how. Thus, exhibition of old knives, blacksmithing demonstration, knife assembly, sharpening, introduction to corkscrew manufacturing and many others will be offered to the public.

Organized by the CCI of Puy-de-Dôme with the support of the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes Region (and the Chamber of Trades and Crafts of Puy-de-Dôme), the City of Thiers, the Community of communes of Thiers Dore and Montagne and the Livradois-Forez Regional Natural Park, this festival helps to boost the knife industry in France while contributing to the influence of the Thiers basin on a global scale.
