Jdourbex -Photographs and Urbex practice; P. Ignacio - sculptures between art brut, singular art and steampunk movement. The raw material is a chaos of recycled objects that he enjoys putting together to give them a new life.
JDOURBEX-“Go back to the past through some photos of unfortunately forgotten places”.
Combining discretion, adrenaline, adventure and history in the practice of urban exploration has occupied part of my daily life for almost 3 years.
First of all, let me remind you of a few basic rules. No matter the place we wish to visit, it is forbidden to force access to enter it. Theft and damage are also prohibited. We do not disclose the addresses of the places in order to protect them from people with bad intentions.
With each photo taken, my eyes marvel at the beauty of these abandoned buildings. Photographing your places allows you to continue to bring them to life.
Whether castles, manors or thermal baths...we try with each expedition to understand their history and reasons for their abandonment.
Whether they are located in France or abroad, I hope that, like myself, these places through the photographs presented will not leave you indifferent. I'll let you plunge back many years, where life stopped overnight.
Philippe IGNACIO-The raw material for Lampoule “Philippe Ignacio” is a chaos of recycled objects that he enjoys putting together to give them a new life. Watchmaker of his world, he decided that even if it meant living in a surrealist world, he might as well choose his own: his universe is inspired, among other things, by art brut, singular art and the steampunk movement. A trained cabinetmaker, he today likes to bring together heterogeneous materials so that his sculptures and lighting can arouse curiosity, astonishment and reverie. He drills, screws, taps, welds, glues, working mainly on metals, wood, but also leather, rope, glass and other objects which in my eyes have the right to a second existence.
