This two-day stay has been designed to take you back in time, from Clos Goëlle, an accommodation in Livradois-Forez. Indeed, your two hosts are fond of second-hand objects. We find them everywhere in this beautiful farmhouse. Vinyl records, spice jars, jugs, wicker baskets and even a superb, perfectly functioning jukebox! You are traveling through the years since Moissat. A real unusual accommodation that we invite you to discover. A guest house with character quite different from the usual hotel chains.
A journey through time where disconnection is at the rendezvous.

You start this stay at the end of the afternoon, after a long day of work or a nice afternoon spent looking after your grandchildren. It's time to take time for yourself. From 17 p.m., Valérie and Vincent welcome you and open the door to one of the three guest house rooms. The cottage is made up of bedrooms, each with a bathroom. A common room is available on the ground floor, as well as a small kitchen. The rooms, with their romantic decoration inviting you to relax, hide here and there antique elements. Welcome to the bedroom of hearts, the bedroom of butterflies or the bedroom of happiness…
After a welcome aperitif to release the last pressures, Valérie and Vincent serve you your dinner in the dining room of the Bistrot. A moment of pure pleasure for gourmets, but also for vintage enthusiasts. The piece is a real journey through time. An old bar has been reconstructed, it houses old “Berger” jugs and jugs, old funny advertisements as well as a large number of diverse and varied objects. We would stay for hours looking at all these treasures. All the furniture in the room has been mottled. To your right, you discover the centerpiece of the dining room: an authentic jukebox in excellent working order. It takes up all the repertoire of the 80s, alternating with vinyls from the 60s. You see the vintage record player loading and unloading these vinyls that have survived the years.
Dinner is served as a meal tray. An air of music from the 60s to the 70s accompanies you. In summer: a salad refreshes the taste buds. In winter: a soup warms them. A charcuterie board is presented, accompanied by Auvergne cheeses. All the gastronomic richness of Auvergne can be found on your plate. A homemade dessert pleasantly concludes the dinner.

After your dinner, you can walk independently around the property or return to your room. The house is, indeed, in the heart of the countryside. Take the opportunity to admire the starry night, before a beautiful night in a pretty room.

The next day, the time travel continues early in the morning. Your breakfast served in the Bistrot room will perk you up with the sound of an old radio. Then, around 10 a.m., Vincent opens his atypical garage for you. Long live the old bikes! It smells of diesel. Vehicles invade the space. Here and there, you can see old vintage cars. Some are very dusty and await the hand of the master. And others, under the tarpaulin, hide from the curious.
But here, it is mainly the kingdom of 2 wheels dating from the 60s to the 70s. The kingdom of old bikes… And a paradise for bikers, young or old. Old scooters are also stored in a second workshop. They are waiting for a second youth. Another hidden treasure at Clos Goëlle, to discover for enthusiasts.
The stay ends gently at the end of the morning. Your two hosts have kept a few other ideas for discovering Livradois-Forez for you. A few minutes by car or 4 kilometers on foot for the more athletic, the Château de Ravel is open to visitors.
