Forest bathing is a moment of sharing in silence and slowness, the senses awakened with a quality of presence that promotes reconnection to oneself, to others and to one's environment. A moment connected to the living that brings great harmony.
Shinrin yoku is a practice that comes to us from Japan. The translation is forest bathing because we are completely immersed in the volatile molecules of the trees, the phytoncides (or terpenes) which have a very beneficial effect on physical and mental health proven by various studies.
The accompaniment of a shinrin yoku guide helps participants to be in a quality of presence through various approaches (playful, sensory and meditative). Also connecting in this way to the forest supports the natural capacities for well-being. Participants are reconnected to their interiority by being fully in their body, and by sharing the experiences lived during the sessions. they are fully connected to others.
These are moments of gratitude towards life. At the end of the outing, we thank the forest with a gesture of gratitude (mandala, land art, etc.) for everything it has given us. By maintaining a sensitive connection with living things, we participate in a more sustainable society.
