La Closerie de l'Ange is a place of charm and tranquility. Its gilded stone and adobe farmhouse overlooks a private flowery interior courtyard, with terraces in the sun or shade. Sunbathing on the lawn, pétanque and darts.
This meeting place in the center of France in Auvergne is ideal for reunions with families or friends, since it is 20 minutes from the A89 Bordeaux - Paris - Lyon motorway, exit no. 29 Thiers - Ouest. Courpière is located at approximately 340 meters above sea level.
The cottage can accommodate up to 8 people, divided into 4 bedrooms. It is ideal for families with young children or toddlers, because there are barriers provided at the top of the stairs, baby high chair, changing table, baby bed. The interior courtyard is enclosed, also ideal if you have pets.
A private parking space dedicated to the Gîte awaits you in front of the farmhouse. Parking is free in the town, and all the main shops are nearby, on foot, or a short drive away.
When you arrive you can drop off your shoes and coats before accessing the rooms and upstairs. On the ground floor there are two bedrooms: one with a 160 cm bed, the other with two 90 cm beds. A shower room with sink and toilet is adjoining. Tiling throughout this level.

In winter, heating is mainly done using the wood stove. Kindling and logs are available under the terrace. In addition: electric heating on the ground floor and gas upstairs.
A corridor leads to the other two bedrooms: one with a 160 cm bed, the other with two 90 cm beds. Shower room with two sinks, washing machine, changing table. Separate toilet. Period parquet flooring throughout this level.
Each room, on the ground floor and upstairs, has a suitcase holder, two valets, two bedside tables, and storage space.
The beds are made with sheets, shower towels are provided, as well as tea towels for drying dishes.
A French window from the kitchen gives access to a terrace overlooking the private interior courtyard. This sunny terrace, protected by parasols, offers a view of the courtyard filled with geraniums, rose bushes, other seasonal flowers and vines. The courtyard is enclosed by a barn made of cut stone and rammed earth, plastered with golden lime. Sun loungers are available on the lawn. A shaded terrace is located under the first terrace, with a small pétanque court and darts, for an aperitif, or whatever.
RENTAL TERMS:
The rental price varies depending on the length of stay. For the summer season, running from June 15 to September 15, rental is done by the week, from Saturday to the following Friday. But everything can be studied accordingly. The rest of the year, rental is from 2 nights.
The 50% reservation is made by transfer or check. The balance is paid upon arrival of the tenants.
A welcome booklet is made available to tenants, for the operating procedures of the gîte.
A la fin du séjour, les sacs des petites et grandes poubelles utilisés, doivent être emportés dans des containers indiqués dans le livret. Le matériel de cuisine et de table lavé proprement et rangé. Le lave vaisselle vidé, la machine à café nettoyée, filtre à café évacué. Plaque de gaz, four, micro-ondes, réfrigérateur, évier laissés en état propre. Des produits ménagers sont à disposition sous l'évier de la cuisine à cet effet. Au départ des locataires, une visite rapide du gîte sera fait avec le propriétaire pour constater ce bon état.
An electric plancha is available. It is intended to be used only outdoors on the terrace. Please clean it well and store it as it was found before use.
Our dog or cat friends are welcome, under the responsibility of their masters or mistresses. If they need anything in the yard or garden, please collect them before leaving the gîte.
Bicycles, motorcycles, etc. can be sheltered in the barn. To be studied with the owner.

Animals accepted under the good supervision of their master, from the moment they do not climb on the beds, and that their droppings are collected in the inner courtyard before the departure of the tenants.
