In our old renovated farm on the Forez, we invite you to come and recharge your batteries and discover the many assets of the region: hikes from the house, outdoor sports, local heritage and cultural events.
Hélène and Edouard welcome you to their gîte at an altitude of 950 meters, overlooking the Dore valley with a view of the Livradois mountains. The gîte, adjoining their home, is made up on the ground floor of a living room, living room, kitchen, opening directly onto the garden. Also on the ground floor, a shower room with wc and vestibule offering storage possibilities.
Upstairs: a large bedroom with a divisible 180x190 bed and an extra 140x200 bed. A second bedroom with a 160x200 bed; Bathroom with toilet. Central heating with wood pellets.
Outside, garden furniture, large spaces for entertaining or relaxing. Around the cottage, hiking trails, mountain biking, pony club, lakes (Ambert: 20 mins, Saint Anthème: 21 mins, Usson: 22 mins, La Chaise Dieu: 30 mins), Prabouré business park ( 32 mins).
Winter sports: Nordic skiing and snowshoeing: Pradeaux resort (16 mins), downhill skiing Prabouré resort (32 mins).
Museums: Richard de Bas mill, Usson en Forez museum, lace museum in Arlanc, Mus'énergie in Ambert.
Local farmers' markets: Ambert (Thursday), Arlanc (Monday), Craponne (Saturday)
