11th edition which attracts athletes from all over France. 3 Trail courses 37, 23 and 12km, 2 minitrails for 12 to 15 year olds, a 13km hike. You will be offered the superb landscapes of the Livradois Forez Natural Park and the Auvergne volcano chain.

The 2024 Amethyst Trail awaits you in the heart of Auvergne.

Departing from Sauxillanges, in the heart of the Livradois Forez Natural Park, your eyes will be dazzled by the effervescence of the colors of spring. You will be offered the superb landscapes of the Livradois Forez Natural Park and unique views of the Auvergne volcano chains.

Its organizational team is recognized nationally, it hosted the French University Championships in 2023.
An organization is made available to clubs to facilitate their annual outing.
The 2024 Amethyst Trail offers you a very complete program for families and clubs for annual outings:
► 3 trail courses: Trail Découverte 12 km (D+450m) for less experienced trail runners, and 2 strong trails Trail Aventure 23 km (D+950m), and Trail Epopée 37 km (D+1580m), for the more experienced and trailers in preparation for long distance. These demanding, committed, technical courses, dazzling with beauty, will animate you with a permanent sequence of climbs and descents.
► 2 real trail courses for Minimes (5 km) and Benjamins (3km)
► 2 1 km races for children aged 8 to 11.
► 1 route of 13 km in hiking or Nordic walking, will allow the accompanying people to get their fill of the lungs, and to encourage the runners.

Local gastronomy on offer with a local meal on request for €12.
