Day excursion on the Casadean plateau to discover the abbey of La Chaise-Dieu and the food and medicinal plant gardens, permaculture in a natural forest located in Baffour, 2km from La Chaise-Dieu
10 a.m.: welcome to La Chaise-Dieu by a tour guide to discover the Gothic St Robert abbey church which contains exceptional treasures including the tomb of Pope Clement VI, the 144 carved oak stalls of the monks' choir, the mural fresco of the 15th century "la danse macabre", the flamboyant Gothic rood screen or the 17th century baroque organ case adorned with musical angels... Then guided tour of the cloister, the Chapel of Notre Dame du Collège housing the 14 Flemish tapestries of the 16th century stamped National Treasure and the echo room with amazing acoustics...
12 p.m.: lunch in a Casadean restaurant (menu of your choice including 1/4 of wine and coffee or herbal tea per person)
14 p.m.: welcome to the Village of Baffour and outdoor guided tour of the Geb Nout site where an endemic forest and gardens created in the image of what nature initiates spontaneously rub shoulders in the same place. Site of observation, preservation, exchange in respect of the living for a sensitive and holistic agriculture and tending towards a horizon: the regeneration of the living to live in harmony with our environment.
16 p.m.: end of the service (possibility of purchase at the shop: flour, pesto, vinegar, herbs, pasta, biscuits, fruit delights, teas, infusions, soaps, balms, floral waters, etc.)
