"Archéofolies" - 1 ère édition

The 06 July 2024

Meeting place: Departmental Museum of Ceramics

For this 1st edition of "Archéofolies", the museum is preparing you for the Paris Olympic Games with athletes at the museum and a sports program concocted especially for you!

Hosted by Acta, these days marked by exchange and good humor will allow you to discover the fabulous epic of games born in ancient Greece. Through numerous activities, become actors of these Archéofolies. Wrestling, boxing, pankration, pentathlon… 3, 2, 1, ready? The games are launched before the Olympic flame is lit!

Thrill by watching the Gladiators of the High Empire performance, then join the gladiator school and become a fighter in your turn! Watch the Athletes of the Olympic Games show, before moving on to practice. Long jump with dumbbells, javelin throw with thruster, bronze discus throw… with these “sports” workshops, you are the champions!

True athletes, Acta actors specialize in historical shows and animation. They will offer you total immersion in order to discover the equipment, the daily lives of athletes and the practices of those who have played our modern sports. Their stand will allow you to interact with them.

Saturday and Sunday from 14 p.m. to 19 p.m.
Paid entry.

Outside: dogs accepted on a leash only. Inside the museum: dogs not accepted, except for those of visually impaired people.
